Terms

Plain terms for using ObraVoice. If something here is unclear, write to us before you sign up, not after.

What ObraVoice is

ObraVoice is an answering service. Software answers your business phone, talks to the caller, takes a message and sends it to you. That is the whole product.

What ObraVoice is not

Your responsibilities

Text message program

When a contractor sends you paperwork by text, this is what you agreed to. The program sends one text message per document — an estimate, a contract, an invoice or a change order — with a link to that document. It is not marketing. You are on the list only because you gave your mobile number to the contractor and asked for the work.

Billing

Plans are monthly, charged in advance, and include the minutes listed on the pricing section of this site. There is no setup fee and no minimum term. You can cancel at any time and the service runs to the end of the period you paid for. We tell you the price before we charge it, and we do not change it without telling you first.

Availability

We work to keep the line answering around the clock, but we depend on telephone carriers and other providers, and no phone service is perfect. If our service is unavailable for a long stretch, tell us and we will credit the affected days.

Limits

We are responsible for providing the service described here. We are not responsible for business you may win or lose, for what a caller says, or for what you decide to do with a message. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the month in question.
